With the ever increasing costs of sustaining heritage properties, careful and relevant evaluation of the site is paramount.
With a keen interest in historic landscapes, we are able to look into the designs and artefacts of historic sites and work with these to recreate or complement the remaining landscapes. Time spent on archive material and research into appropriate materials allows the scheme to evolve and become a sustainable home or landscape asset for pubic enjoyment.
Contemporary design within historic landscapes needs to be highly considered and working closely with Clients and stakeholders, the most appropriate, yet innovative development is possible.
Where funds are limited, a masterplan or staged development is the most effective method of design, prioritising areas for requiring protection and looking at enhancement where possible. Having worked on several large country estates and managed the landscapes, we are experienced and inspired to provide valuable advice and design.
