WILDLIFE AT ITS FINEST

From waterways to garden ponds, bats to newts, we provide the information needed to make informed choices and appropriate design solutions from the outset.

ENVIRONMENTAL

We are able to offer species surveys (including licenced surveys for protected species), habitat appraisal and impact assessments. The identification of opportunities and constraints early within a project saves valuable time and money and ensures that the planning process runs as smoothly as possible.

Ecological information often informs, or perhaps dictates site layout, and used early within the process, allows maximum design potential from a site. Seasonal constraints arising from the presence of protected species can prove costly and pre-planning appraisals will minimise this loss.

With a keen eye on all environmental factors, we assess measures to mitigate potential impacts on wildlife and are able therefore to produce designs that create and enhance habitats. Management plans are also required to plan for, and ensure sustainable environments in the long term and a Landscape and Ecological Management Plan may also be required for planning approval.

"By assessing the ecology and the trees prior to calling in the Architect, we were able to save huge amounts of time and money. The site design and landscape scheme followed on smoothly with all relevant information provided at the outset, allowing the scheme to sail through the planning process."
